EDGERTON, SCARBROUGH BRING HOME THE TROPHIES TWICE IN ONE WEEKEND!

Aftershock Motorsports made a huge statement this weekend from both of the team's drivers as both of them finished first in their respective divisions.

The winning began Friday night in Midlothian, Virginia where developmental driver Lauren Edgerton earned her first victory at Southside Speedway in the Ucar division. Not to be outdone, Joe Scarbrough took to the track Saturday night at Langley Speedway in the B&C Seafood Modifieds race where he frankly dominated the rest of the 14-car field. Joe won the pole, and then proceeded to lead all 50 laps of the feature.

"I told Lauren I couldn't let her one up me!" Joe mentioned later jokingly. The victory for the #30 modified now puts him only 10 points behind leader Shawn Balluzzo in the standings with three more races to go.

The next scheduled modified race is to be held on Saturday, September 15th.
