5TH PLACE FINISH AFTER TEAM DODGES BULLET

8/13/07: The #30 team returned to racing at this past Saturday's B&C Seafood Modified race at Langley Speedway. After qualifying 6th for the race with a time of 16.81. As the race progressed, Scarbrough managed to take the 5th place position away from #69 Rusty Wood on lap 12 and was able to hold onto that position for another solid top-5 finish.

The day got off to a rough start when an incident which occured during the Penninsula Hardwood Mulch Legends race. A legends car was involved in an on-track incident and had to be towed back to the pit area. As the tow truck towed the car back to the pits via having the car suspended in the air, the wrecked legend swung into the #30 car as it sat on jacks in it's pit stall, denting the mod and knocking it off the jacks. Luckily nobody on the Aftershock Motorsports were hurt in the incident and Langley Speedway officials allowed the team to take 5 laps prior to the grand stock race to make sure the car was in good shape and did not suffer any damage aside from some dents.

The B&C Seafood Modifieds will race next at Langley Speedway on September 1st.
