THIRD PLACE FINISH PUTS SCARBROUGH WITHIN REACH OF POINTS LEAD
7/21/07: The B&C Seafood Modifieds were out in full force again this past weekend at Langley Speedway after a few weeks off. Aftershock Motorsports entered the weekend feeling good about their chances at winning after qualifying 7th for the race with a time of 17.199.
Once the green flag dropped, the #30 team began moving up the chart, within two laps, Joe had managed to get the car into the top-5 and by lap 19 had raced his way into the top-3.
Third place would be as far as Joe would be able to advance, as Whelen /Rolling Thunder Modified regulars Thomas Stinson and Buddy Emory took first and second.
Scarbrough's third place finish was the fifth consecutive top-ten finish for the #30 car. With the car consistently being a contender race in and race out, Joe has place himself within striking distance of regaining the points lead of the series. After this weekend's race, Joe is now only a mere 6 points behind leader Shawn Balluzzo.
