AFTERSHOCK TOP 5'S AT LANGLEY

6/17/07: The #30 mod had an up and down night last Saturday as the B&C Seafood Modifieds took to the track at Langley Speedway. Joe qualified the #30 mod on the pole with a time of 16.719 but were forced to start 8th on the grid after officials had found an unapproved adjustment to the car after the scuff laps prior to the qualifying.

Although starting 8th, the Aftershock team got their act together and began moving up through the field shortly after the green flag flew. By lap-6 Joe had advanced to the 7th position and then to the 6th position on lap-9. On Lap 34 Joe made another pass for position landing him into the 5th position, a place where he managed to hold onto when the checkered flew.

The 5th place finish has landed Joe 3rd overall in the point standings a mere 8 points out of the lead.

Joe will now travel to Mid-Ohio to compete with ROAR Racing this weekend.
