SCARBROUGH GETS WIN NUMBER 4 IN RTM SERIES 8/27: Aftershock Motorsports has again walked away with a victory in the Rolling Thunder Modifieds Series...this time it was on his own turf as the tour rolled into Langley Speedway for the second time this year. Scarbrough qualified for the event 2nd, just .015 slower than eventual polesitter Ronnie Davis. Scarbrough started the race from the fifth position and quickly began advancing through the ranks...reaching 2nd place within two laps. Once in second, he stayed behind felllow Langley regluar, Michael Leech for several laps. On lap 31, Scarbrough went for the kill and made his way into the lead and never looked back, leading the 15-car field to the checkered. The #30 team has been nothing short of impressive in their races with the RTM tour. In five attempts, Joe Scarbrough has won 4 of those races...that's an 80% winning average! On top of that, he has swept both races run at Langley Speedway as well as East Carolina Motor Speedway. Joe has also been so impressive in his running with the tour, he is situated in the top ten in the overall point standings, even while running a partial schedule. Joe will try to make some more impact in the RTM tour for this coming weekend as the tour rolls into Southern National Raceway Park in Kenly, NC. This will be Aftershock Motorsport's first venture with the tour to this widely-popular track, hopefully the result will be the same as it has been in the past. OFFICIAL RESULTS: 1. #30 Joe Scarbrough Pole: #14 Ronnie Davis - 16.816
