The Aftershock Driver Development program is designed to help up and coming racers and teams move towards success through chassis set-up, one on one driver instruction, driver coaching and professional spotting and communications. Not only do we strive for driver excellence, but we are also a support system for the team. Aftershock Motorsports is dedicated to helping teams find balance in their budgeting, implementing proper safety systems and practices, as well as team structure and teamwork.

If a developing driver shows interest in driving a modified car, Aftershock Motorsports will provide testing opportunities on non-race days. In order for a developing driver to receive this opportunity he or she must demonstrate excellence both on and off the racetrack. The driver is required to have at least one full season of experience in his or her division or class. It will be at the discretion of Aftershock Management if the driver will receive such an opportunity. Drivers and teams within the program are welcome to be a part of Aftershock’s racing endeavors for educational purposes.

Aftershock Motorsports will also provide limited sponsorship to those drivers and teams that join our program.

Please email us at aftershockmsprts@aol.com for more information on joining our program.

On August 18th at Langley Speedway, Lauren won the Hard Charger Award, and then went to Southside Speedway where she quickly found herself leading the Ucar event. Unfortunately her power steering pump broke as she led, dumping fluid on her tires and resulted in having her black-flagged with 8 laps left in the race. She had led 17 of the 30 laps and finished a disappointing 20th.

Lauren quickly rebounded by winning at Southside the following week, resulting in her first career win.
